Hard at Work in Oregon
Bank of America began serving Oregon more than 120 years ago. Henry Pittock, an Oregon pioneer who also published The Oregonian, founded the Portland Trust Company in 1887. Portland Trust Company eventually joined Security Pacific National Bank and entered the Bank of America family in 1992 through BankAmerica Corp. Today, Bank of America is one of the nation’s largest financial institutions and provides services to half of all American households.
*Extended $111.3 million in new credit to Oregon small businesses in 2012.
