Hear from Ora Parish, President of Bank of America Augusta-Aiken, about our role in keeping Augusta-Aiken moving forward.
We are committed to continuing our work with communities that need our support to help build a thriving and revitalized Augusta-Aiken.
We are committed to helping our communities thrive - dedicating our resources to address the issues that matter most in each community where we live and work.
Now as always, our commitment to help strengthen the communities we serve is unwavering. We’re partnering with local leaders and organizations to advance racial equality and economic opportunity, support diverse and women entrepreneurs, build job skills and create opportunities to help people succeed in today’s and tomorrow’s economy. We’re investing in benefits and resources for our employees who serve our clients in their communities. And we’re doing our part to protect our planet.
Our presence in more than 90 local markets helps us make a difference across the country.
We’re committed to supporting our employees’ health and safety and to addressing our local communities’ most critical needs. That’s why we donated $100 to local hunger-relief organizations for each Bank of America employee in the U.S. who let us know they’ve received a booster shot.
Through this effort, our team in Augusta-Aiken recently presented Golden Harvest Food Bank with a check for $25,000Footnote*. We’re proud to be able to help our community as we work together to move forward.

In Augusta-Aiken, we’re working with communities that most need our support. We’re collaborating with local organizations that are helping drive job skills training, accelerating mixed income housing programs, providing significant capital through the Payment Protection Program and engaging in partnerships to support small businesses, notably in communities of color. Through these efforts, Bank of America is helping to enhance the vitality and vibrancy of our neighborhoods.
Building on their longstanding work to attract and retain a younger workforce to its local community, Augusta Tech is doubling down their efforts to train a technically skilled workforce that meets the city’s evolving manufacturing needs. The 2-year academic and technical college, a Neighborhood Champion® award recipient, is refurbishing its Programmable Logic Control Lab to better prepare students for in-demand careers.
Through our partnership with Augusta National Golf Club, we’re working to highlight women's accomplishments both on and off the course. The new pathways for progress that the Augusta National Women’s Amateur creates are changing the game, not only for the talented athletes participating in the Championship but also for the generations they inspire.
