That's why Bank of America is adding charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) to over 90 financial centers nationwide. For our customers who are interested, we have financing for EVs and charging accessories. And we're also supporting the choices our teammates make with employee rebates on EVs.

Let’s build something together

As a diverse community that's largely rooted in the agriculture and hospitality industries, we were hit hard when the health crisis began here in Monterey Bay. We focused our relief funding on healthcare and food insecurities, stocking food banks and funding a COVID-19 ward that provided additional rooms and equipment. For our largely Hispanic and Latino community, we're focused on supporting programs that provide upskilling to create career pipelines in hospitality and agriculture as well as technology and design. We're proud to support a great nonprofit program that helps high school graduates learn how to build websites and produce videos—skills that were in demand for businesses who hadn't established an online presence before the health crisis hit. This program better positions businesses to withstand future challenges, plus it's cultivating exciting careers for the next generation of our workforce.

Racial equality and economic opportunity

At Bank of America, we’re committed to addressing the root causes of inequality through a company-wide commitment to advancing racial equality and economic opportunity across diverse communities. We are doing this by building upon our existing efforts and leveraging our strengths: creating more affordable housing and expanding home ownership, increasing lending and support to minority-owned small businesses, championing job training and career readiness and addressing health disparities like access to care. We also know we can’t solve these challenges alone, so we’re partnering with other corporations, local nonprofits and community leaders across the country who share our vision for creating meaningful change.

To help address this gap, Bank of America works with local nonprofits, employers and broader networks across the country to support skills-training programs that meet the specific workforce demands of local communities. The result is a diverse talent pipeline for employers – and a clear path to employment for individuals.
