I am proud of the work we are doing to bring Knoxville’s business and community leaders together, and our teammates will continue to share the insight and resources we have available to us at Bank of America to make a true difference in our local neighborhoods.

Let’s build something together

As Knoxville continues to grow and attract new business activity, Bank of America is focused on driving economic mobility throughout its neighborhoods. This commitment encompasses charitable giving, collaboration with economic development partners and providing financial literacy education that together build pathways to enriching employment opportunities for members of our local communities.

Our dedication to advancing racial equality and economic opportunity is also expressed through our support of organizations, which provide culturally sensitive access to affordable housing, food security and mental health resources for underserved communities within our service areas.

Bridging the gap to higher wages

For the past 15 years, Centro Hispano de East Tennessee has opened its doors to Hispanic-Latino families in Knoxville, where many face challenges ranging from education gaps to childcare and transportation needs. More than just a community center, Centro Hispano seeks to empower the city’s Hispanic-Latino population through education, workforce development, youth programs and small business assistance — and its mission has never been more vital. Over the next five years, Knoxville’s Hispanic-Latino population is expected to grow by more than 20%.

Advancing Racial Equality and Economic Opportunity

The need for real progress on racial and economic inequality in the United States has been accentuated by the impact of the coronavirus on communities of color, and amplified by acts of injustice. We all have a role to play in helping move communities forward – an understanding that forms the foundation of Bank of America’s long-standing commitment to the people and communities it serves. And they’re at the heart of the bank’s $1.25 billion commitment over the next five years to advance racial equality and economic opportunity.

Find a location

Whether you have everyday financial needs or more complex ones, our experienced specialists can help at locations around your city. Find a location and make an appointment to talk with us.

We remain committed to supporting you with your financial needs during the health crisis. Of course, nothing is more important than your health and safety, and we have taken multiple steps to minimize health risks, based on guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention. These steps we have taken in our financial centers include enhancing the daily cleaning procedures, implementing plastic screens and distancing markers, following local restrictions on the number of clients that can enter a financial center at one time, and requiring our employees to wear masks. In addition, we are requiring clients wear masks when visiting our financial centers.
