Let’s build something together

Bank of America is proud to serve the diverse Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties across Florida’s beautiful Treasure Coast. To drive economic mobility in our local communities, we have proudly supported academic institutions, marketplace development partners and nonprofit organizations focused on truly changing lives through skills development and job creation in the region.

We are also committed to helping small businesses settle, grow and thrive along the Treasure Coast, offering financial literacy mentorship and access to funding to entrepreneurs within underserved communities. To further accelerate the economic advancement of the market, we also serve as a proud convener of local business leaders, fostering shared strength through connection and collaboration across our neighborhoods.

A different approach to a successful career

Most job skills training programs focus on getting people ready for the technical aspects of a job, yet few underscore the importance of mental health to an employee’s success. Project LIFT focuses on both. Young adults ages 14 to 21 can talk to licensed therapists while learning skills that will set them on a path toward a career, including auto repair, welding, HVAC, solar, textile printing, graphic arts, carpentry and construction. Project LIFT’s curriculum also aims to destigmatize mental health problems.

Racial equality and economic opportunity

At Bank of America, we’re committed to addressing the root causes of inequality through a company-wide commitment to advancing racial equality and economic opportunity across diverse communities. We are doing this by building upon our existing efforts and leveraging our strengths: creating more affordable housing and expanding home ownership, increasing lending and support to minority-owned small businesses, championing job training and career readiness and addressing health disparities like access to care. We also know we can’t solve these challenges alone, so we’re partnering with other corporations, local nonprofits and community leaders across the country who share our vision for creating meaningful change.

Together, we're demonstrating that we deliver great results for clients and also help address important priorities in the communities we serve. It's amazing what we have the power to do when we work together.
