We're committed to supporting our employees' health and safety and to addressing our local communities' most critical needs. That's why we've donated to local hunger-relief organizations on behalf of each employee who received a COVID-19 vaccine or booster and/or a flu shot.* In addition, employees are doubling the impact of their personal donations to fight hunger with our matching gifts program.
Through this effort, our team in East Central Florida recently presented The Children's Hunger Project with a check for $25,000. We're proud to be able to help our community as we work together to move forward.

Bank of America’s commitment to supporting the local communities of Brevard, Volusia and Flagler counties has been at the center of all that we do in East Central Florida. This is evident in our employee volunteerism; proud support of local nonprofit organizations, such as Neighbor Up Brevard, which focuses on community revitalization through mentorship; and our efforts during the global pandemic to donate more than one million masks, along with additional personal protective equipment, throughout our service areas.
We also help our local small business customers navigate the pathway toward financial success, so they can hire more of our neighbors and support job creation.
We strive to truly be an engaged member of our East Central Florida communities, and the scale and scope of our global network has enabled us to extend our strength and resources to these areas in meaningful ways. This year and beyond, we are looking forward to reconnecting with our teammates, customers and community partners in person while continuing to leverage technology in new ways to bring people and powerful ideas together.
At Bank of America, we’re committed to addressing the root causes of inequality through a company-wide commitment to advancing racial equality and economic opportunity across diverse communities. We are doing this by building upon our existing efforts and leveraging our strengths: creating more affordable housing and expanding home ownership, increasing lending and support to minority-owned small businesses, championing job training and career readiness and addressing health disparities like access to care. We also know we can’t solve these challenges alone, so we’re partnering with other corporations, local nonprofits and community leaders across the country who share our vision for creating meaningful change.
The job skills gap has disproportionately affected Black and Latino individuals – and this disparity has been compounded by the coronavirus. To help address this gap, Bank of America works with local nonprofits, employers and broader networks across the country to support skills-training programs that meet the specific workforce demands of local communities. The result is a diverse talent pipeline for employers – and a clear path to employment for individuals.
At Bank of America, we believe in the power of the arts to help economies thrive, educate and enrich societies, and create greater cultural understanding. That’s why we’re helping the arts flourish in communities across the globe.
