Taking action to support our communities, clients and teammates

Now as always, our commitment to help strengthen the communities we serve is unwavering. We’re partnering with local leaders and organizations to address critical needs, and to advance racial equality and economic opportunity. We’re collaborating with companies and working with skill-building partners to help people succeed in today’s and tomorrow’s economy. And we’re doing our part to help people stay healthy — including investing in benefits and resources for our employees who serve our clients in their communities.

Let’s build something together

In Oklahoma City, delivering Bank of America’s expertise has always been our priority, but notably now in times like nothing we’ve ever experienced. Our commitment to be a thought leader and convener of support through local public, private and nonprofit organizations has helped our community work through these challenging times collectively. And, through the bank’s retail and business lending capabilities, we continue to provide guidance and support along with needed capital. Notably, our support of workforce and job skills development in diverse communities continues to build the pipeline of talent for our community, notably in the education field to help improve our education system, a foundation of our market.

Critical support for teachers

Through the Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools, many bilingual paraprofessionals who already work in the school district are getting the assistance needed to advance professionally and begin new careers as teachers. The Foundation’s pipeline helps recruit and train educators who mirror the diversity of the student population in the district, helping with college tuition and other expenses, and continuing to support teachers throughout their careers.

Meeting the growing demand for a square meal

In the face of the pandemic, Feeding America has seen the need for food assistance rise by 70% across the country. To support our nation’s largest domestic hunger relief charity in providing critical assistance, we gave Feeding America a $1 million grant and more than $15 million to its partner organizations.

Whether you have everyday financial needs or more complex ones, our experienced specialists can help at locations around your city. Find a location and make an appointment to talk with us.

We remain committed to supporting you with your financial needs during the health crisis. Of course, nothing is more important than your health and safety, and we have taken multiple steps to minimize health risks, based on guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention. These steps we have taken in our financial centers include enhancing the daily cleaning procedures, implementing plastic screens and distancing markers, following local restrictions on the number of clients that can enter a financial center at one time, and requiring our employees to wear masks. In addition, we are requiring clients wear masks when visiting our financial centers.

We make customers our first priority.
You make us #1.
