The health crisis hasn’t created the gaps in our society; it’s widened them. We’re grateful for organizations that have a long history of serving residents in need and are responding to the increased challenges so many members of our community are facing in this moment.

Offering the community
more ways to go

We're always looking for ways to support people's choices in the communities we serve. That's why Bank of America is adding charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) to over 90 financial centers nationwide. For our customers who are interested, we have financing for EVs and charging accessories. And we're also supporting the choices our teammates make with employee rebates on EVs.

Hear from Kieth Cockrell, President of Bank of America Charlotte, about our role in keeping Charlotte moving forward.

Let’s build something together

As President of Bank of America Charlotte, I get to help our clients, employees and community thrive in our region. I oversee the bank’s work connecting individuals, families, and businesses to resources that make their financial lives better from Iredell County, N.C. to Chester County, S.C. I’m also charged with helping strengthen economic opportunity through social responsibility efforts, which as we know are absolutely essential to the Charlotte market at this time. These initiatives, like supporting workforce development, education and affordable housing, allow us to all come together as neighbors and partners toward a better Charlotte market.

The nonprofits were selected for their work to address the region’s issues around both economic opportunity for women, as well as support for refugee and immigrant children. As Neighborhood Builders, they each receive a $200,000 grant over two years, comprehensive leadership training for the executive director and an emerging leader and more.
