Hard at Work in Arizona
Bank of America began serving Arizona more than 120 years ago. In the late 19th century, a bank was founded in Bisbee to support the financial needs of the growing population of miners. The bank operated out of the Copper Queen Mining Company’s general store until it was incorporated in 1900 as the Bank of Bisbee. A casualty of the Depression, the Bank of Bisbee was acquired by the Bank of Douglas and later renamed the Arizona Bank. In 1989, Bank of America acquired the Arizona Bank. Today, Bank of America is one of the nation’s largest financial institutions and provides services to half of all American households.
Bank of America to Donate 1,000 Properties for Injured Veterans, First Responders
