Hear from Fabiola Brumley, President of Bank of America Palm Beach County, about our role in keeping Palm Beach County moving forward.

Let’s build something together

In Palm Beach County, Bank of America has long partnered with public, private and nonprofit organizations to assess the needs of the community and deliver an immediate response. And through challenging times, we have accelerated these partnership efforts notably to expand our ongoing efforts to advance racial equality in education and job training, access to healthcare and nutritious food, affordable housing assistance, and capital and resources for minority-owned small businesses. We mobilize with our community to help where it’s needed most.

The capital entrepreneurs need to succeed

In Palm Beach County, a new, community-oriented lender called Pathway Capital Funding aims to provide small, minority-and women-owned businesses with loans, technical assistance and financial literacy training. Sixty percent of Pathway’s lending will be in low-and moderate-income neighborhoods in Palm Beach County. Before and after funding, Pathway also plans to support new entrepreneurs with educational resources that include dozens of online training courses on subjects ranging from financial statements to cash flow management.

Supporting economic opportunity for diverse people & communities

At Bank of America, we have a long-standing commitment to support economic opportunity for diverse people and communities. We are doing this by building upon our existing efforts and leveraging our strengths: creating more affordable housing and expanding home ownership, increasing lending and support to minority-owned small businesses, championing job training and career readiness and addressing health disparities like access to care. We continue to focus on working collaboratively across sectors to advance opportunities that will create real impact in the lives of individuals and for the communities we serve, using the past to inform our perspective and understanding as we tackle barriers within our communities.

Equal access to education

Equal access to education is critical to the health of our communities and our economy. The coronavirus and its impact on society have shone an even brighter light on many long-standing economic and racial inequalities across the country. Including at America's schools. These school systems are working to end inequality in education and create opportunity for their students after graduation.
