Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® 2022

“We continue to drive Responsible Growth. That includes investing heavily in being a great place to work for our teammates, who serve our clients and communities every day,” said Bank of America CEO, Brian Moynihan. “The ongoing recognition we receive, including this latest distinction by Fortune, reflects the many ways we invest in, and support, our teammates around the world and the continued positive feedback our teammates provide on our workplace and culture.”

Bank of America was named one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For" in 2022 by Fortune magazine, and global research and consulting firm, Great Place to Work® for the fourth consecutive year. The bank was no. 29 on the list compared to no. 22 in 2021 and no. 77 in 2020.

Excerpt of the ranking:

Not only did Bank of America offer employees paid time off to complete coronavirus vaccine appointments in 2021, the financial services giant has emphasized employee well-being over the course of the pandemic. The company added new physical and mental health resources in the past year and converted live, in-person training sessions into a digital, on-demand program that workers can access 24/7 for help reducing stress, building resiliency, and understanding mental health warning signs. BofA continued to support working parents with up to $275 per child per month to help cover childcare expenses, free assistance with the college admissions and financial aid process, and free financial counseling. “The bank goes above and beyond in support of their employees and communities,” says one employee.

“Achieving Responsible Growth means we want to attract, develop and retain the best people, and to do that, we work hard to offer an inclusive workplace, career growth and development, and rewarding and comprehensive benefits that will help our employees thrive at every stage of their careers and their lives—that has never been more important,” said Sheri Bronstein, chief human resources officer at Bank of America.
