Hear from Midge Campbell, President of Bank of America Ventura-Santa Barbara, about our role in keeping Ventura-Santa Barbara moving forward.
The members of this community have always come together to develop solutions to the region’s most pressing challenges, and we are proud to offer Bank of America’s resources and innovative technology to advance economic mobility within our neighborhoods.
We are committed to helping our communities thrive - dedicating our resources to address the issues that matter most in each community where we live and work.
Now as always, our commitment to help strengthen the communities we serve is unwavering. We’re partnering with local leaders and organizations to advance racial equality and economic opportunity, support diverse and women entrepreneurs, build job skills and create opportunities to help people succeed in today’s and tomorrow’s economy. We’re investing in benefits and resources for our employees who serve our clients in their communities. And we’re doing our part to protect our planet.
Our presence in more than 90 local markets helps us make a difference across the country.
We’re committed to supporting our employees’ health and safety and to addressing our local communities’ most critical needs. That’s why we donated $100 to local hunger-relief organizations for each Bank of America employee in the U.S. who let us know they’ve received a booster shot.
Through this effort, our team in Ventura-Santa Barbara recently presented Food Share of Ventura County and Food Bank of Santa Barbara County with checks totaling $200,000Footnote*. We’re proud to be able to help our community as we work together to move forward.

Hear from Midge Campbell, President of Bank of America Ventura-Santa Barbara, about our role in keeping Ventura-Santa Barbara moving forward.
Bank of America is proud to serve our communities within the picturesque Ventura-Santa Barbara market along the American Riviera. To advance racial equality and economic opportunity throughout our service areas, we partner with Hispanic-serving educational institutions and community development organizations, connecting essential services, affordable housing and meaningful employment to our neighbors in need.
To support our small business community, we provide sponsorship and mentorship to organizations, which empower female entrepreneurs through funding and financial literacy training programs. Our teammates also drive local impact through volunteerism, and we support community partners that offer culturally relevant approaches to developing young leaders.
Since its start in 1991, Women’s Economic Ventures (WEV) has provided more than $7 million in small business loans and offered training and advisory services to more than 19,000 women and minority small business owners along California’s central coast. As the pandemic has made the need for its help more urgent, WEV is expanding its program to include coaching, low-interest capital and grants.
At Bank of America, we’re committed to addressing the root causes of inequality through a company-wide commitment to advancing racial equality and economic opportunity across diverse communities. We are doing this by building upon our existing efforts and leveraging our strengths: creating more affordable housing and expanding home ownership, increasing lending and support to minority-owned small businesses, championing job training and career readiness and addressing health disparities like access to care. We also know we can’t solve these challenges alone, so we’re partnering with other corporations, local nonprofits and community leaders across the country who share our vision for creating meaningful change.
