Offering the community
more ways to go

We're always looking for ways to support people's choices in the communities we serve. That's why Bank of America is adding charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) to over 90 financial centers nationwide. For our customers who are interested, we have financing for EVs and charging accessories. And we're also supporting the choices our teammates make with employee rebates on EVs.

Everyday dedication meets everyday appreciation

We continue to invest in our employees with initiatives like Sharing Success, which awarded 96% of colleagues additional compensation this year, nearly all in stock. This is the sixth time teammates received this award, totaling more than $4 billion. We are committed to being a Great Place to Work for our teammates locally and around the globe including providing leading benefits, minimum wage at $22/hr on track to $25/hr by 2025 and opportunities to build a career with us.

Let’s build something together

We are focused on serving those in need by providing funding and volunteer support to local nonprofits addressing basic needs, workforce development, education and community revitalization across the state. By partnering with nonprofits, we're providing financial literacy and adult learning programs, with much needed resources—like Chromebooks and Wi-Fi hotspots—to give them the tools they need. We're also helping to foster multicultural education and community engagement for our children, with a special emphasis on STEM skills. When it comes to businesses, the changing climate has disproportionately impacted low-income communities. We're providing solutions by aiding and financing green jobs to fill the gaps in rural regions undergoing economic transitions. And, to battle the extreme racial disparity of people affected by the health crisis, Bank of America took action, providing funds for masks, stocking food pantries and providing other supplies.

Delivering skills and computers to those in need

When online instruction was the only option, many students without a home computer were faced with even more obstacles in pursuing their education. For Portland Adult Education, it became clear that there was an urgent need to get the necessary technology into the hands of its students—many of whom are immigrants enrolled in English as a second language and college- and job-readiness courses. We partnered with Friends of Portland Education to help keep students online and on-track.

Scaling up support amidst the pandemic

For Preble Street, a Portland food pantry and shelter, the coronavirus has not only required additional support for those facing food and housing insecurity, but also additional methods to safeguard its staff, volunteers, and participants.

The power of the arts

At Bank of America, we believe in the power of the arts to help economies thrive, educate and enrich societies, and create greater cultural understanding. That’s why we’re helping the arts flourish in communities across the globe.
