Offering the community
more ways to go

We're always looking for ways to support people's choices in the communities we serve. That's why Bank of America is adding charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) to over 90 financial centers nationwide. For our customers who are interested, we have financing for EVs and charging accessories. And we're also supporting the choices our teammates make with employee rebates on EVs.

Raju Patel | President, Bank of America Colorado

Hear from Raju Patel, President of Bank of America Colorado, about our role in keeping Colorado moving forward.

Let’s build something together

As President of Bank of America Colorado, I get to help make our region a better place to live and work by delivering the wide range of the bank’s capabilities. I oversee the bank’s work connecting individuals, families, and businesses to resources that make their financial lives better across Colorado. I’m also charged with helping strengthen economic opportunity and building strong communities through social responsibility efforts, which as we know are absolutely essential to Colorado at this time. These initiatives, like funding access to healthy food and PPE; partnering with nonprofits like our 2020 Neighborhood Builders, We Don’t Waste and Ready to Work Aurora; and supporting innovative workforce development and housing programs allow us to all come together as neighbors and partners toward a better Colorado.

Removing employment barriers: Getting the job is just the first step

With locations in Aurora and Denver, Ready to Work provides holistic support for those who are chronically unemployed.

Beginning with paid work, dormitory housing and case management support, the program provides support services for each step in the individuals’ journey towards full-time, paid employment. Following graduation from the program, Ready to Work trainees continue to receive counseling and other services to help sustain their housing and employment success.

Racial equality and economic opportunity

At Bank of America, we’re committed to addressing the root causes of inequality through a company-wide commitment to advancing racial equality and economic opportunity across diverse communities. We are doing this by building upon our existing efforts and leveraging our strengths: creating more affordable housing and expanding home ownership, increasing lending and support to minority-owned small businesses, championing job training and career readiness and addressing health disparities like access to care. We also know we can’t solve these challenges alone, so we’re partnering with other corporations, local nonprofits and community leaders across the country who share our vision for creating meaningful change.

At Bank of America, we believe in the power of the arts to help economies thrive, educate and enrich societies, and create greater cultural understanding. That’s why we’re helping the arts flourish in communities across the globe.
