Student Leaders

Since 2004, our Student Leaders® program has helped prepare high school students for the workforce by connecting them to skills development and leadership training. Through paid internships with local nonprofits like Golden Harvest Food Bank, they gain practical work and life experiences. It's just one more way we're working to build a better future for all.

Hear from Ora Parish, President of Bank of America Augusta-Aiken, about our role in keeping Augusta-Aiken moving forward.

Let’s build something together

In Augusta-Aiken, we’re working with communities that most need our support. We’re collaborating with local organizations that are helping drive job skills training, accelerating mixed income housing programs, providing significant capital through the Payment Protection Program and engaging in partnerships to support small businesses, notably in communities of color. Through these efforts, Bank of America is helping to enhance the vitality and vibrancy of our neighborhoods.

A fast lane to success for Georgia small business owners

A great idea is where a great business starts, but to be successful owners need to also master everything from bookkeeping and insurance to marketing and managing cash flow. That’s why the Greater Augusta Black Chamber of Commerce is helping minority entrepreneurs emerge from the pandemic stronger, with four weeks of classes covering administration, skills building and strategy and planning, and another six weeks of coaching and mentorship from experts.

Being a great place to work has its rewards. And awards.

Because of our investments in industry-leading programs and resources, and our commitment to helping teammates achieve their personal and professional goals, we were awarded the Grand Stevie Award for Organization of the Year. *

* The Stevie Awards recognize the achievements of businesses and professionals worldwide. Organizations self-nominate, providing data for various categories, and winners are determined by the average scores of more than 240 professionals worldwide serving as judges.

** For the annual Rankings, JUST Capital collects and analyzes corporate data to evaluate the 1,000 largest public U.S. companies across 20 issues identified through comprehensive, ongoing public opinion research on Americans' attitudes toward responsible corporate behavior. In determining the top 10 companies for workers, JUST Capital used its Workers Leaders Index which tracks the top 20% of companies in its annual Rankings that perform the best across the five worker related issues evaluated. https://justcapital.com
