Now as always, our commitment to help strengthen the communities we serve is unwavering. We’re partnering with local leaders and organizations to address critical needs, and to advance racial equality and economic opportunity. We’re collaborating with companies and working with skill-building partners to help people succeed in today’s and tomorrow’s economy. And we’re doing our part to help people stay healthy — including investing in benefits and resources for our employees who serve our clients in their communities.

Let’s build something together

Bank of America diligently supports the delivery of essential services to neighbors in need throughout the Hudson Valley. We have sponsored local nonprofits that address food insecurity and access to healthcare within low- to moderate-income areas, and we have partnered with nearby academic institutions that provide pathways to careers in healthcare and sustainability for underserved members of our community.

As part of our commitment to driving racial equality and economic opportunity, we also proudly engage community development organizations that empower Black, Hispanic and female entrepreneurs through increased access to funding and mentorship.

Since 2009, CEO has advocated for investment in employment-focused reentry support, fair wages and vocational training programs. The organization was founded on the idea that everyone, regardless of their past, deserves the chance to work toward a stronger future for themselves, their families, and their communities. Bank of America support enables the organization to offer 115 people from the Capital Region jobs and skills training, food vouchers and other assistance.

Advancing Racial Equality and Economic Opportunity

The need for real progress on racial and economic inequality in the United States has been accentuated by the impact of the coronavirus on communities of color, and amplified by acts of injustice. We all have a role to play in helping move communities forward – an understanding that forms the foundation of Bank of America’s long-standing commitment to the people and communities it serves. And they’re at the heart of the bank’s $1.25 billion commitment over the next five years to advance racial equality and economic opportunity.
