Hard at Work in Maine
Bank of America began serving Maine more than 100 years ago. The First National Bank of Portland was established in 1901, and it later became part of FleetBoston during its expansion throughout greater New England. FleetBoston became part of the Bank of America family in 2004. Today, Bank of America is one of the nation’s largest financial institutions and provides services to half of all American households.
