Late last year, Bank of America kicked off a new five-year sponsorship with Bryant Park Corporation by launching the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park.
This village gave new meaning to the term “wintry mix,” with a combination of ice-skating, dining and shopping in the heart of Midtown. As part of our ongoing partnership with Bryant Park Corporation, we’re also presenting a summer event series that will kick off on June 16, 2014. The HBO® Bryant Park Summer Film Festival 2014 features free weekly screenings of classic films for the whole family to enjoy, every Monday night from June 16th through August 18th. The lawn opens at 5pm with films starting at sunset, and food will be available for purchase from Hester Street Fair and ‘wichcraft. Be on the lookout for free popcorn and water each week, as well as special activities on June 30th and August 4th. For more information on the film festival, visit here.
The Bank of America Tower is located directly opposite at One Bryant Park , and Bank of America’s nearly 5000 Midtown employees have supported their local park since the tower was built. “There’s no better way to extend our commitment to the cultural vibrancy of New York City than by partnering with our neighbors at Bryant Park,” said Jeff Barker, New York City president, Bank of America.
Located at W. 40th and W. 42nd Streets between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, Bryant Park sits behind the New York Public Library and just a short walk from Times Square and Grand Central Station. Visit Bryant Park here.
