Opening doors to long-term careers
Bank of America’s apprenticeship programs provide paid, work-based learning opportunities for individuals entering the workforce through nontraditional pathways. Building on recent skills-based hiring initiatives for military, community college and campus candidates, we recently committed to hiring 1,000 additional apprentices over the next two years — an increase of 60% per year.
Providing opportunity for those who serve
Since 2015, Bank of America has steadily expanded its skills-based military hiring, focusing on providing opportunities for veterans transitioning to civilian life and new careers. Over the next five years, we’re committing to hiring 10,000 more individuals with military backgrounds.
Creating pathways from community college to career
Through our skills-first hiring approach, Bank of America plans to hire 8,000 individuals with community college experience over the next five years.
