The race is over. But the good can keep going.
Bank of America is proud to spotlight this year's fundraising athletes who ran for a charitable cause. It’s not too late to donate — you can still give through December 31, 2025.

Achilles International
Redefining what’s possible
“Your husband has been wounded in combat.” That’s the life-changing phone call Tesa S. received 15 years ago. Zach’s injuries resulted in double amputation, and there was no guidebook for the couple on how to move forward. So they made one for themselves. They participated in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon to benefit Achilles International — and showed what resilience looks like.
When I got that phone call, the world just stopped. But now 15 years later, we survive and thrive together."
– Tesa S.

Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation
Progress for paralysis
Twenty years ago, Martin experienced a rare case of paralysis from a viral infection. He ultimately had a miraculous recovery, but knows most people with spinal cord injuries aren’t so lucky. He ran this year’s race to raise money for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and their efforts supporting people impacted by paralysis.
I know what it means to help people with paralysis heal, because I was once there."
– Martin Q.
