The 22 Fund

The 22 invests in that non-sexy sector, manufacturing, which is the foundation of our economy. The 22’s mission is to create the clean quality jobs of the future in low and moderate income communities by investing in clean/climate/sustainable tech manufacturing companies to help them achieve venture type growth through international sales. Additionally, our mission is to increase generational wealth and mobility for women and BIPOC by investing intentionally in their companies. Our holistic strategy of investing in these companies to increases their International sales CAUSES our impact without concessions or trade-offs.

The Fund will invest typically with minority ownership positions in companies that have most of the following attributes:

Manufacturing, High-growth, clean & sustainable industries, Growth stage with commercialized products, Management team with industry expertise, BIPOC- and/or women-owned businesses, Recurring Revenues, Operations based in LMI areas, Low technology risk, Defensible market positions, Profitable operating histories, Proprietary concepts/brands/tech, Non-extractive.
