Reign Ventures invests in seed stage enterprise software and consumer tech startups. We focus on founders with historically limited access to early-stage capital, and we aim to enable exceptional founders in building companies that create value with financial, intellectual and social capital.

An important component of this investment strategy is a focus on women- and minority-led startups. These companies are currently receiving less than 3% of total venture investment as a result of certain biases held by many investment managers. We achieve more attractive valuations and better overall returns on our portfolio by investing in this underserved market.

The firm’s investment strategy is to make investments in Seed through Series B rounds of early-stage technology startups. This allows us to realize the value of pro-rata rights in the most successful companies in the portfolio that raise additional capital, while avoiding dilution of our early equity position.

We invest in enterprise software and consumer tech businesses harnessing unique technologies and networks for customer acquisition and product distribution. Scalability and capital efficiency are two of the most important criteria we look for in portfolio companies after quality of management. We target companies with addressable markets in excess of $1 billion, that can reach $50 million or more in annual revenue on $50 million or less in capital.
