Black and Latino Angel Investment Fund of New Jersey
We are a group of investors providing pre-seed and seed-stage capital to high-growth, next-economy start-ups owned by people of color. We bring together diverse experiences from investors who are successful entrepreneurs, academic leaders, corporate representatives, venture corporation founders and corporate / institutional partners.
We invest in Black and Latinx entrepreneurs with a significant ownership stake in their businesses. Our geographic focus is primarily New York / New Jersey or entrepreneurs with connections to the area. We have made 7 investments across technology and tech-enabled growth industries including haptics, payments, retail technology, health technology, women's health and telematics. Our investments have contributed to $5M of additional funding and the creation of nearly 100 jobs.
