Grants & sponsorships

We have countless strong nonprofit alliances around the country, which include grants and sponsorships to local organizations that help improve financial lives and entire communities. Some areas we concentrate on are workforce development and education, basic needs like food and housing, and community development. We focus both on programs that address immediate needs as well as on ones that offer longer-term solutions that give people the tools to achieve economic mobility.

Besides offering our financial resources and expertise, we also encourage our employees to make a difference by giving them volunteer opportunities, incentives to get involved like paid time off to volunteer, and a matching gifts program that encourages donations to important causes.

 

ESG reporting

We offer an account of Bank of America’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) work and business impacts through ESG reporting. Our goal is to present pertinent information about our global business (which spans all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and more than 35 countries) and across our eight lines of business.

A team across Bank of America’s business lines and corporate functions develops our Annual Report and all of the other information and reports. This annual reporting on our ESG efforts is informed by well-respected frameworks including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), United Nations Global Compact, Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), CDP and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
