Offering the community
more ways to go

We're always looking for ways to support people's choices in the communities we serve. That's why Bank of America is adding charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) to over 90 financial centers nationwide. For our customers who are interested, we have financing for EVs and charging accessories. And we're also supporting the choices our teammates make with employee rebates on EVs.

Bill Goede | President, Bank of America Tampa Bay

Hear from Bill Goede, President of Bank of America Tampa Bay, about our role in keeping Tampa Bay moving forward.

Let’s build something together

Here in Tampa Bay, Bank of America is focused on taking care of our customers, clients, employees and community. Throughout the unprecedented challenges of the past year, we’ve helped support nonprofits who feed those in need, and provided personal protection equipment to vulnerable populations and the organizations serving them. We’ve successfully adapted to the remote banking needs of our customers to serve them in flexible, responsive and safe ways. We continue to strive to achieve racial equality in the workforce by working with nonprofits in our community providing grants and funding for people of color to accelerate skill-building and create access to better jobs with livable wages. We’ll continue to do all we can to increase economic opportunity and mobility for our all of our neighbors.

Fulfilling the dream of home ownership

Owning a home can feel like an elusive goal for people of low to moderate income, but community lending programs and local partnerships can help. Ralph Jackson of East Tampa took advantage of some of those resources — and as a result was able, at the age of 61, to purchase his first home.

Strengthening Tampa Bay’s workforce

To help fuel economic opportunity in the Tampa Bay community, St. Petersburg College is working to connect talent supply with industry demand. Their program is targeted toward the job placement of students who are near the end of their educational pathway, focusing on students of color and those struggling financially to achieve their career goals. To prepare these students for in demand roles, they help them to develop the skills needed to obtain high demand careers while also connecting them to successful career opportunities.
