Student Leader alumni reflect on their program experience

This year marks the 15th anniversary of Bank of America’s Student Leaders® program, one of the key pillars of our ongoing commitment to supporting youth employment and economic mobility. Bringing together a diverse group of civic-minded high school juniors and seniors from across the country, the program provides an opportunity for students to refine their leadership potential, connect with a peer network, and build workforce skills that will help them to advance social progress in their communities and support their future careers. Selected students receive a paid, eight-week internship at a local nonprofit and participate in a national leadership summit in Washington, D.C.

Since 2004, nearly 3,500 young people have been recognized as Student Leaders, and many are continuing to use the skills they learned in their careers today.
