Hard at Work in New Mexico
Bank of America began serving New Mexico nearly 90 years ago. George Kaseman founded Sunwest Bank of Albuquerque in 1924, and the San Juan County Building and Loan Association followed in 1926. By the 1980s, both banks had grown to serve all of New Mexico and became part of the Bank of America family in 1998. Today, Bank of America is one of the nation’s largest financial institutions and provides services to half of all American households.
*Extended $31 million in new credit to New Mexico small businesses in 2012.
