Offering the community
more ways to go

We're always looking for ways to support people's choices in the communities we serve. That's why Bank of America is adding charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) to over 90 financial centers nationwide. For our customers who are interested, we have financing for EVs and charging accessories. And we're also supporting the choices our teammates make with employee rebates on EVs.

Let’s build something together

Seattle is a socially conscious city, and that commitment is at the heart of everything we do. When the pandemic struck, we immediately mobilized support for those most impacted. Initiatives included working with affordable housing partners to address two pressing challenges—combating food insecurity among hard-hit local residents, and supporting small businesses. The result was a program that delivered food prepared by local restaurants to those in need. We also funded groups that provide childcare, giving flexibility to essential workers. For the future, we’re focused on improving access to great jobs. This includes helping students of color overcome the barriers they often face in completing their studies. Above all, we want to use our resources to give everyone a voice, helping ensure that all community leaders have a place at the table to share their insights.

Racial equality and economic opportunity

At Bank of America, we’re committed to addressing the root causes of inequality through a company-wide commitment to advancing racial equality and economic opportunity across diverse communities. We are doing this by building upon our existing efforts and leveraging our strengths: creating more affordable housing and expanding home ownership, increasing lending and support to minority-owned small businesses, championing job training and career readiness and addressing health disparities like access to care. We also know we can’t solve these challenges alone, so we’re partnering with other corporations, local nonprofits and community leaders across the country who share our vision for creating meaningful change.

Fueling economic growth through jobs and skills development

The job skills gap has disproportionately affected Black and Latino individuals – and this disparity has been compounded by the coronavirus. To help address this gap, Bank of America works with local nonprofits, employers and broader networks across the country to support skills-training programs that meet the specific workforce demands of local communities. The result is a diverse talent pipeline for employers – and a clear path to employment for individuals.

The power of the arts

At Bank of America, we believe in the power of the arts to help economies thrive, educate and enrich societies, and create greater cultural understanding. That’s why we’re helping the arts flourish in communities across the globe.
