The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) is a world-class cultural center that has been a major driver of the economic revitalization in Newark, thanks in part to support from Bank of America.
For over a decade, the bank has sponsored the Bank of America Classical Series, which brings renowned classical musicians to NJPAC and provides an economic boost for the community. Highlights from recent seasons include orchestras, solo recitals and a popular holiday performance. The sponsorship includes pre-concert discussions, so ticketholders can learn what to listen for during each performance.
Arts education has also been a core part of NJPAC’s mission – and a focus of Bank of America’s support. The Center has reached over a million children since its inception. Arts Education programs host live performances and provide unique school residency programs and after-school and summer arts training programs spanning the various artistic genres.
NJPAC’s mission is to be a cultural and civic hub for the city of Newark and state of New Jersey, driving economic revitalization through cultural experiences and arts education. With Bank of America’s support, NJPAC is well on its way to that goal.
