One of the things I love about living in New Jersey is the diversity of our communities. We believe our company has a responsibility to support those communities, while serving the needs of our clients and taking care of our employees.
New Jersey is your home. It’s ours, too.

change-makers
Since 2004, our Student Leaders® program has helped prepare high school students for the workforce by connecting them to skills development and leadership training. Through paid internships with local nonprofits like Boys & Girls Clubs of New Jersey and Elijah's Promise, they gain practical work and life experiences. It's just one more way we're working to build a better future for all.

As President of Bank of America New Jersey, I am proud that we have made a $1.25 billion, five-year commitment of additional support to help local communities address economic and racial inequality accelerated by the global pandemic. We will focus on assisting people and communities of color that have experienced the greatest impact from the health crisis. This work builds on economic mobility work Bank of America already supports in New Jersey and our commitment to responsible growth. I oversee the bank’s work connecting individuals, families, and businesses to resources that make their financial lives better from Sussex to Cape May. I’m also charged with helping strengthen economic opportunity and build strong communities through social responsibility efforts, which as we know are absolutely essential to New Jersey at this time.
Wired for a career in tech
The nonprofit organization NPower is devoted to helping veterans and under-resourced young adults break out of low-wage jobs and build meaningful careers in technology. NPower works with employers in seven states to create coursework and training opportunities – in New Jersey, we’re partnering with NPower to support paid internship programs that provide participants with critical real-world experience.
Supporting economic opportunity for diverse people & communities
At Bank of America, we have a long-standing commitment to support economic opportunity for diverse people and communities. We are doing this by building upon our existing efforts and leveraging our strengths: creating more affordable housing and expanding home ownership, increasing lending and support to minority-owned small businesses, championing job training and career readiness and addressing health disparities like access to care. We continue to focus on working collaboratively across sectors to advance opportunities that will create real impact in the lives of individuals and for the communities we serve, using the past to inform our perspective and understanding as we tackle barriers within our communities.

Going above & beyond for our teammates
We're #1 in our industry and #1 for workers on the JUST Capital's 2024 Rankings of America's Most JUST Companies. **
Being a great place to work has its rewards. And awards.
Because of our investments in industry-leading programs and resources, and our commitment to helping teammates achieve their personal and professional goals, we were awarded the Grand Stevie Award for Organization of the Year. *
* The Stevie Awards recognize the achievements of businesses and professionals worldwide. Organizations self-nominate, providing data for various categories, and winners are determined by the average scores of more than 240 professionals worldwide serving as judges.
** For the annual Rankings, JUST Capital collects and analyzes corporate data to evaluate the 1,000 largest public U.S. companies across 20 issues identified through comprehensive, ongoing public opinion research on Americans' attitudes toward responsible corporate behavior. In determining the top 10 companies for workers, JUST Capital used its Workers Leaders Index which tracks the top 20% of companies in its annual Rankings that perform the best across the five worker related issues evaluated. https://justcapital.com
