Hard at Work in Hawaii
At Bank of America, our heritage is in our name. Our earliest predecessor, the Massachusetts Bank, opened for business on July 5, 1784. In the late 20th century, North Carolina National Bank began a series of acquisitions that eventually consolidated several thousand banks, forming Bank of America. In 2009, Bank of America’s acquisition of Merrill Lynch created a premier financial services franchise with significantly enhanced wealth management, investment banking and international capabilities. Generation after generation, the financial institutions that comprise Bank of America have played an important role in developing our communities and growing our economy.
*Over $31 thousand in nonprofit support for Hawaii in 2012.
