This spring, Bank of America is honored to sponsor the Oakland Museum of California’s Friday Nights @ OMCA series. Every Friday night from 5 to 9 p.m., OMCA opens its doors for an evening series where guests of all ages are invited to eat, dance and peruse the museum’s galleries, gardens and terraces. This family-friendly take on a festive night market features gourmet food trucks from Off the Grid, local beverages at the Blue Oak beer garden, and live music and dance lessons. Guests can also get creative at drop-in art workshops and learn from local artisans in the Makers & Tasters Series.
“Friday Nights @ OMCA showcases the beautiful diversity of Oakland – it’s families and strollers, it’s hipsters and singles, it’s a true cross-section of the community,” said Cynthia Taylor, OMCA’s Associate Director of Public Programs. “We’re excited to partner with Bank of America as a major corporate supporter of this program, and we hope the bank’s friends and family will come see what Friday Nights @ OMCA offers!”
Martin Richards, San Francisco and East Bay Market President for Bank of America, echoed the Museum’s excitement about the series: “Bank of America is passionate about supporting the arts and the community – and OMCA’s event is a perfect opportunity. It brings together residents from across the Bay Area to enjoy the Museum’s exquisite facilities.”
