I believe the situation in US and Europe is getting better- the fiscal cliff was partially solved.

Export growth from China will be stabilised, will actually be improved from very low levels in the middle of last year.

Expect GDP growth rate to quicken from around 7.7% in 2012 to 8.1 % in 2013.

I do stay hopeful for reforms for the next five to ten years; I believe that Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang and other new leaders really have the mandate and also the capacity to deliver economic, social and even political reforms for China.

China really needs to structural changes to sustain its growth and prosperity to avoid the so called middle income track and eventually become a more developed economy.
