Each year more than 300,000 people flock to the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park to enjoy a premier New York City seasonal tradition. This year the Winter Village, which is free of charge, welcomed guests from all over the world between October 29, 2016 and March 5, 2017.
The Bank of America Winter Village once again offered a variety of themed activities and events for visitors to enjoy. From free-admission ice skating to on-site dining to shopping in the city’s favorite Holiday Shops — including more than 125 specialty retailers in open-air pop-up boutiques — the festive spirit was alive and well in Bryant Park all winter long.
In addition to its daily offerings, the Bank of America Winter Village was also home to several special events throughout the season. In October, Halloween trick-or-treating offered families a fun and festive way to celebrate together. In December, a Tree Lighting Skate-tacular narrated by Carrie Ann Inaba featured outstanding performances by Johnny Weir, Javier Fernandez, the Haydenettes and more. In January guests enjoyed the third annual Winter Carnival, which featured an Opening Night Skating Showcase, a Silent Disco, an Ice Ball, and free curling and skating lessons. Additionally, the Bank of America Warming Lodge offered Bank of America cardholders complimentary hot cocoa during the carnival as a way to warm up from the cold.
Thank you to all the guests who stopped by Bryant Park, located at W. 40th to W. 42nd Streets between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, this season to enjoy all that the Bank of America Winter Village had to offer.
